A Worship Service Centered on the Word of Truth: Our time together for worship is saturated with God's Word. We pray the Word, read the Word, sing the Word, preach the Word, and respond to the Word. We love the Word because it is the means by which the Spirit transforms us to hope more fully in Jesus Christ.
Songs and Music That Communicate Biblical Truth and Stir the Affections: We
sing songs that are God-centered, Christ-exalting, and biblically
accurate. We use upbeat, uplifting music and songs that stir the
affections and involve the whole person (mind, will, emotions) in praising our great and
glorious God.
A Welcoming, Humble, and Grace-Loving Community of Believers:
There are no perfect people at HopeSpring. We are sinners like anyone
else and we cherish the unmeasured grace given to us by God in Jesus
Christ. We welcome all to come and hear the humble boldness of our preaching and experience the humble love of our people.
An Emphasis on Gospel-Centered Teaching and Living: We believe the gospel saves and
sanctifies. We long to look deeply into the glories of the cross. We
teach justification by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
We embrace Christ's death as our pardon from God and Christ's righteousness as our perfection before God. We teach and live out the gospel so that our lives are not centered on performance but on grace.
A Safe, Loving, Hope-Producing Environment for Children:
We currently provide a nursery for children from birth through 3 years
of age during the preaching time. We take seriously the training of
children in biblical truth and plan to have age-appropriate teaching
for children in the near future. We also desire to help parents assume
their God-given role to raise their children to treasure and hope in
Jesus Christ.
